Between 1992 and 1994 my wife Helen and I spent about 11 months traveling. Most of this occurred over 2 summers. The first summer (1992) we traveled around western Europe. During the summer of 1993 we continued this trip by seeing the eastern parts of Europe as well as Egypt & Israel. In late 1993 we also visited Russia, China & Hong Kong before continuing on to Australia and back to the U.S. During our travels both Helen and I kept travel journals. I recently transcribed one of these journals and, since I know a couple of people who will be traveling soon, I put them up here so that other travelers could read about our experiences. My journal alone runs to about 80 pages. I am not expecting anyone to actually want to read all this so I have split it into pieces and created a couple of indexes - an Alphabetical Index & and Chronological Index, so that people can jump around and read just those bits which they think may interest them.
