Project Leader
Led a team of 8 programmer analysts on multi-million dollar
project to develop a client server Customer Information System for a utility company.
Responsible for project planning and reporting, setting and meeting estimates and
monitoring all activities of team members. All deliverables were completed on time and the
development came in under budget.

System Architect
Transferred to Melbourne, Australia to assist with the
business analysis and design of changes to a large scale Customer Information System for
an electric company. Led joint application development (JAD) sessions with the customer
over a 3 month period and then designed and specified the requirements.

Customer Information System for several large utility companies. The system's architecture
consisted of a mainframe server (Natural Adabas & Natural DB2) and a front end written

Developed and supported material and services purchasing systems for
Consolidated Railways , Pennsylvania. Participated as a team member on a Smalltalk

Developed a large quantity of on-line programs using Adabas
and Natural 2.1 for the organization, placement and endorsement components of a
Lloyds standard insurance brokerage system. Performed quality assurance, unit and
system testing. Wrote and implemented a number of library management utilities and a suite
of modules using Natural construct to reduce testing time by the development team.

Contract Programmer Analyst
Developed a highly successful spare parts distribution
system written using Adabas Natural 2.1 for the North American operations of the Otis
Elevator Company. Responsible for the analysis, design, writing of specifications and
programming of inventory management, replenishment planning and cycle counting subsystems.
Worked extensively with system users to determine system requirements, during training and
post implementation support. Performed file design, developed coding standards and
utilities for use by development team and supervised the work of other programmers.

Developed gas accounting, purchase contract and settlement
systems for the Arkansas and Louisiana Gas Company using Adabas, Natural and Construct.

and implemented a large volume of both on-line and batch programs.

Developed and acted as key support person for a large high profile
on-line distribution system written in Adabas/Natural. System incorporated order entry and

accounts receivable and invoicing.

writing, file design and performance monitoring and tuning. Also acted as team leader,
responsible for supervising programming and training clients.
